13 are selected for Georgian national final of Junior Eurovision 2010

Submission period for participation in Georgian national preselection to Junior Eurovision 2010 has been closed.
13 entries, which will contend to be presented at the 2010 Junior Eurovision Song Contest (JESC) from Georgia, are selected.
Information about the finalists of preselection will become available through the GPB`s official site of JESC - junior.eurovision-georgia.ge .The songs selected in the first phase of the national contest will be available to listen via radio one of GPB - www.radio1 .
The National Final of Georgia will be held in September. Selected Contenders will perform on the stage during the concert.
The winning song will be selected by mixed voting of televiewers and jury. The winner song will be then performed in Minsk, Belarus at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010.
Georgia was represented in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest for the first time in 2007, when Mariam Romelashvili, took 4th place in Rotterdam, Netherlands. In 2008 Georgian Group ,, Wasps” won JESC final, which was held in Lemesos, Cyprus.
